Chia-Li is an author, small business strategist she brings the highest levels of integrity and professionalism to her work. As a consequence, she has helped me and countless others maximize the outcome and positive results of our own work.

I’ve known Chia-Li for several years and she helped ensure that The Peaceful Dragon, Charlotte, NC based business that my wife and I have run since 1997, is among the leading businesses in our field.

With her published book “Show Me The Money” explains how critical it is to become “Value Architects” in our business, maximizing it’s value so that we get the highest possible return on all the years of hard work, risk, and sweat we invested in our business.

With lots of real-life examples and case studies Chia-Li clearly shows the pitfalls and dangers of growing revenues but failing to grow value, and the folly of expecting to simply “sell the business for a whole bunch of money” when we are ready to retire.

Ms. Chien takes a very unique and personal approach with her clients. While building their wealth maps, she takes the time to find out each client’s goals, strengths, challenges, and finds out the direction in which they want to go.

With this information and data, she is able to implement the plan they have chosen and help guide them towards their goal. For me personally, she has been wonderful in helping me adapt to the changes in the economy and we have worked closely tougher to maintain my financial goals.

She has taken the time to get to know my industry so she can better serve my needs and realizes the important of such personal care needed for the success of her clients.

Even while you help build wealth maps for your clients, you do it in such a way that they have an active role in choosing, co-designing and ultimately implementing. You don’t walk in with “the map” for them. You don’t hand them a cookie-cutter version that is used for everyone. It is personally designed.

Seeing strategically the purpose, passion, people, and how everything comes together and results in the bottom line. You are clearly gifted and this helps your clients concentrate on shipping their ART while growing the value of their business.

We thoroughly enjoyed you and deeply appreciate all you contributed to the Urban Rebound Competition and Conference yesterday. From the judges orientation and judging in the competition, to your presentation and then one-on-one interactions with the women at your book table, your warm spirit, generosity, clarity and brilliance were a tremendous addition to the program. Our attendees especially appreciated having the worksheet to help them follow along with the key points of your presentation. You are a gifted instructor, and it was evident that you knew they would absorb your materials more readily if they could hear you state it, see it on the screen and write it down on their worksheets which had a visually creative and helpful “fill in the boxes” design. Also, using the methodology of the 5 Sins Entrepreneurs Commit provided a handy guide to help them retain the points you were making. The pull marketing and push marketing were two concepts that I know I immediately retained. The women of Charlotte are fortunate to have you as a local resource, and I will certainly keep you in mind for future events.

I consumed your book "Show Me The Money" in about 2 hours and simply could not put it down! I've already quoted it several times to other business owners when our conversation turned to maximizing profit and creating a solid exit strategy. Few books can explain such deep business principles in more simple and easy to understand way. I consider it a privilege to have read it!

I recently had the privilege of attending a workshop Chia-Li Chien presented at the Carolinas Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants in Greensboro, North Carolina and came away extremely impressed with her breadth and grasp of the key drivers that make a business work and capture more value by taking advantage of market share opportunities. Her presentation was substantive, providing insight into what makes a business valuable and offered strategies to take in building value in a business. She focused on the deadly mistakes that businesses frequently make and walked the audience through a series of mini-cases studies showing companies in distress and the reasons why they were in trouble and how her advice, assistance and their action resulted in improved performance. Chia-Li articulated specific, actionable solutions that these businesses took under her guidance and highlighted the often-dramatic results. Her presentation style was most engaging as she stimulated a good deal of audience interaction in the process. Later during the social portion of the meeting it was clear that the attendees left with a set of insights that they could begin putting into play in their own companies that day. Others I talked to were equally as impressed as I was. I’m already considering the ways I might bring Chia-Li Chien’s expertise into play in helping my firm take advantage of her expertise in the coming months. Chia-Li is one of those professional service providers whose expertise is both quantifiable and qualitative. I highly recommend her services.

As a business strategist one function I perform is coordinating special events, which are geared to providing quality information to the professional community. On November 19, 2011 I coordinated the “Entrepreneurs Supporting Entrepreneurs” networking event held in Charlotte, North Carolina. A major criterion of such events is having the right speaker(s) who can provide informative and usable information. Chia-Li meet and exceeded these criterions. Having Chia-Li within my network is priceless. She provided some fundamental factors, which are essential to business owners and their success.

Thank you very much for your participation in this year’s North Carolina Governor’s Conference for Women. No doubt this year’s success was achieved with help from your wonderful ad informative participation on the “Leveraging Your Power: Work-Wealth-Politics panel.” I know your panel’s audience left the conference with new and improved ideas and tools to take back to their own communities and to improve their own lives.

I am so deeply appreciative of everything you did and for all your hard work. It meant so much to have you as part of the conference. North Carolina, the participants, and I are grateful for your commitment and tireless efforts. I was truly an amazing day.

Chia-Li is phenomenal. She recently spoke about the “Five Deadly Business Sins to Avoid” at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. She is right on target and makes us think strategically about our business. Her book, Show Me The Money, is a great resource for entrepreneurs as well.

Highly recommend this book "Show Me The Money!" As a business owner myself, wish I would have read this gem years ago. Extremely well written and have already made changes that have more than paid for the book cost and then some.

This year I was the COO of the Angel Capital Summit in Denver, CO. As part of my duties I was in charge of helping to select the workshop instructors for day 1. I met Chia Li Chien on twitter, liked her, and was impressed with her business acumen, so I invited her to teach. Wow, it is 3 days later and I am still getting emails and tweets about her workshop. It was pure substance, each student came away with a favorite aah haa moment. I have the treat of continuing to work with Ms. Chien on multiple levels, as we will continue to collaborate on other projects. I highly recommend Ms. Chien – her experiences, her knowledge, her observations and mentoring are necessary for so many businesses. If you are considering using her services, don’t hesitate. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like to discuss anything in specific.

I had the pleasure of attending Chia-Li’s presentation on 5 Deadly Business Sins to Avoid at the recent Angel Capital Summit held in Denver, Colorado. As a long time entrepreneur and current President of my latest venture, Boomerang Asset Recovery, I found her presentation to be extremely valuable in helping me to identify and focus on some key business factors that are essential to business success, but are often overlooked or underappreciated.
